Week- 5 - Solid meshing

Aim: To mesh the Surfaces of the given model with 2D elements as per the given Quality criteria and use tetra elements to mesh the Volumes defined in the model as per the quality criteria for Volume meshing.

Procedure:

1. Check the geometry for any errors.

2. The elements quality criteria for both shell and solid elements were inserted. In mesh parameters, instead of mixed mesh. only tria option was selected.

3. The surfaces of the model were meshed with tria elements.

4. In volume meshing tab, first the volume of the model was defined using Volumes - define option.

5. Then the Tetra FEM option was used to generate the tetra mesh.
