Aim: For the given Rear view mirror component

1]Mesh the Surfaces.

2]Mesh the Volumes defined in the model.

SOLUTION:

3] Repairing the elements failing for min/max values:

ALL STEPS FOLLOWED:

1]Topo is done over entire component.

2]Geometry checkup is done and fixed.

3]From Mesh->Perimeters->Length is set to 1 mm.

4]From PROPERTIES every component is taken individually .

5] Quality criteria for SHELL and SOLID are set.

6]From Mesh->Mesh Generation->Spot Mesh ,

a]Ortho mesh for curve areas

b]Tria mesh is used for flat surfaces

and failures for both are fixed using Reconstruct, Move(nodes) commands.

7]Now Volume is defined in volume mesh using DEFINE command/

8]Meshing of Volume is done using Rapid mesh command from LIST.

9]If any failure for collapse it is fixed using MOVE FREE command.

OUTCOMES:

1]Meshing solid element.

2]Use of commands in Vmesh
