Week- 5 - Solid meshing

Geometry Checks

Assigning quality parameter and mesh properties.

Meshing the component using spot mesh. Ortho tria to be using at the complex/ fillets regions.

Creating volumes

Right click on volume and remesh as tetra rapid or tetra FEM algorithms. This will generate the solid mesh.

Learnings:

1) How perform solid meshing.

2) Assigning volumes for closed shell.

3) Learnt to fix tet collapse failures.

4)Ortho tria and tria mesh and where to use.

Results: The given component was mesh as per the requirement and quality criteria.
