Week 5 Challenge

1. Create new DGN file for horizontal geometry. Draw tangent lines with various methods. Insert curves in between them as well at the ends. Apply feature definitions to all these elements.

2. Create a square of 500’ side with fillets at 2 ends and chamfer at other two. Make complex. Offset this shape inside 5’ and outside 20’. Apply 3 different feature definitions for each of these shapes.

Draw lines at right angles with 500' length on four side and create a square.

Add fillet at two corners with 60' radius and chamfer at other two corner with 50' distance.

Joint all the elements to make a complex line by using complex geometry bt elements feature.

Set a feature definition and select the elements. complex line is created.

By selecting offset entire element 5' inside the square with Road Shoulder Feature defintion.

Offset the complex by 20' outside the square with a ROW feature definition.

3. Create any point featured element along the outmost shape by point tools.
