Week 4- Rolling operation

Aim :

To simulate the rolling operation with the given changes in the model and provide realise results.

Software used :

Ansys work bench 2021 R2

Procedure:

• Import the model from the skill lync portal.
• Create the materials for rollers and rolling rod.
• Now open the space claim and alter the model as per the given dimensions and return to the mechanical module And assign the material as strucutral steel and copper.
• Mesh the model with hex and assign the contacts and joint loads for the model to simulate and get a realistic data form the simulation.
• The rollers are given as revalute connection & Given rigid behaveiour .
• Establish the contact condition to the material based on the target and contact surfaces.
• Tweak the analysis setting as per requriments and run the simulation .
