Week 4- Meshing of Backdoor Challenge
objective :
to mesh the given backdoor of the car model using the mentioned quality parameters.
procedure :
image of the given model is as below;
inner view;

outer view;

and now we have separated into three components as shown as below;
rear side we have seperated as two components like upper and lower and the diffrence is shown by colours.

and another one as inner component ( the inner view part is taken as a seperate component as inner)

now check the borders and arrange them to the certain component manually.
creating midsurface manually:
firstly create a new component named with midsurface and make it as current component, and next follow these steps,
geometry -- surface edit -- offset -- select any one surface and select it by face and next make duplicate, now check the vector normal and enter the offset value which is half of the thickness of component. click on offset to get the midsurface.
images of the midsurface:
actually the symetrical half of midsurface is deleted for speed accuracy.
upper component:

inner component:

lower component:

components seperated and orderised in this way as shown in below;

given quality criteria :

the quality parameters are given to the using software shown as below...

mesh of outer component:
part by part we have done the meshing by using automesh and corrected the mesh size and mesh flow with help supported tools like rebuild mesh, translate,project,smooth, quality index and replace options etc..

reflected mesh of outer component mesh:

mesh of inner component:

reflected mesh and complete inner component mesh:

mesh of lower component:

final mesh of original component:

improving mesh flow by using diffrent methods and technics:
--------->
by rotating the circle into 45 degrees and rebuilding the present mesh and clearing the trias by using certain tools.
criteria result:
even the tria percentage and all qyality parameters are perfectly managed

conclussion:
thus, we have completed the meshing of backdoor in certain quality criteria.
