Question 1) Simulink model for washing machine process sequence as below.

Simulnk blocks used in this model as

1)Stateflow chart :-In this block all steps of washing machine described .

2)Constant block:- To give the constant number .

3)Toggle switch :-To start the system ON/OFF condition given by this block

4)Display:-To display the result of model used this block .

5) Lamps:- To indicate state of the model lamps are used.

Results :-

1)As when the switch is ON then the power supply is available, the system gets activated which shown by 1st lamp was green if it is not then it become red color .

2)After that next step is Water supply is available, start the process & indicate through LED lamp .if water is not availiable then indicate by red light .

3) After water steps Soaking is done for the time should be 200s. shown by green lamp

4)Then Washing is done for the time of 100s.

5)Then rinsing happens for next 20s & dryer runs for 50s.this process if complete then only lamps become green otherwise lamp become red.

6) finally process end shown by lamp .

Question2):-Simulink model for for the “Gear shift” logic as below,

Blocks used in this model :-

1)State flow chart :- In this chart all the logic for gear shifting according to speed value is mentioned in chart.

2)slider gain :- to give the speed values from this block.

3)Constant block:- To give the constant number .

4)Display:-To display the result of model used this block .

5) Lamps:- To indicate state of the model lamps are used.

Results:- As the speed input values is given according to that gear is shiftted and that gear number is shown in display block .

1)0 to 15 speed range gear no 1 is acting which shown in above snap .as display is showing 1st gear . lamp become green .

2) 16 to 25 speed range 2 gear is acting

3) 26 to 40 speed range 3 gear is acting

4) 41 to 60 speed range 4 gear is acting

5) Above 61 speed range 5 gear is acting
