1] Here, we can see input given to washing machine is Power Supply and Water Supply, Next sequence of operation is soaking, washing, rinsing, drying.

2] When the input is zero there will not be any action, but when input is 1 then, power supply will start and in the same way next condition will be for water.

4] Time for every process is also specified.

These images shows the control logic for gear shifting.

As the speed varies gear system changes the gear and according to speed ranges of each gear.

Dial gauge and Slider are added for better and clear look.

Here, I have arranged the speed ranges as given in the question in the chart form.
