Week - 4
Aim:
- Implement control logic of a “washing machine” using Stateflow as per given sequence:
- If the power supply is available, the system gets activated
- If the Water supply is not available, stop the process & indicate through LED
- Soaking time should be 200s followed by Washing time of 100s.
- Then rinsing happens for the next 20s & dryer runs for 50s
After all the processes have been completed turn on the finished LED.
Model description:
the chart block is used to make the Stateflow.
The two slider switch is used :
- Power supply: The first switch is used for the power supply when the switch is On the process begin
- Water supply: Another switch is used to turn the water supply ON. if it remains OFF the further process will not execute.
LEDs: The LED indicator is used for the switches and for the Process
the RED light indicates the OFF
and the GREEN light indicates the ON state.
The different time delays are provided and the Washing machine start
Result:
As the result each and every process of the Washing machine shows as images:

Note: the highlighted part highlights the time taken by each process
Aim:
2. Make a Simulink chart for the “Gear shift” logic as per below conditions:
Speed Range(kmph) Gear
0 to 15 1
16 to 25 2
26 to 40 3
41 to 60 4
Above 61 5
Give speed input while the simulation is running & display the gear number.
Model description:
The model is made by the Stateflow
The Input port takes the speed by the slider gain block.
The Output port displays the Gear no. according to the speed and the condition given in the question.
The Vehicle_motion Output displays the condition of the vehicle.
Result:
The images at the different speeds are attached.
