Week - 4 - 2D meshing for Plastic components
Aim-For the given Plastic Bottle Cap model, check for the geometrical errors and take the mid surface by suitable mid surfacing techniques.
Objective-For given quality parameter garneting the mesh on the hood model.

Procedure-
1.Import the model- In the left corner go to open and import the model.
2.Geometry clean up-After importing the model go for geometry clean up in tool box there is check manager in that geometry and execute that after that it will shows the error then select all right click fix it or go manually also.
3.By using the middle option take mid surface bacause it has various thickness.
4.Midsurface- for easy parts do offset option for midsurface.
5.Assign the property-Assign the property for midsurface by selecting the setpid.
6. For complex area by using circle option take the midsurface-
first take the the mid surface by using the offset command and by circle command in curve and 3points draw a circle-
then delate the faces-
and by using the new face join the cons-
7.Taking mid suface of thread by using middle curve option select two cons and middle click after that project the curve to the face adjacent after that by using the new option take the cons and generate the new face.

8.Assign the length for mesh nodes -In the mesh in perimeters select length and select the part and assign length which is 1.
9.Mesh parameters -After that give the mesh parameters i.e max length ,min length and average value.
10.Quality parameter-Then give Quality parameter as per given.
11.Mesh-In the mesh generation there is option called best select and select the part for better mesh go partwise divide them. After go for reconstruct the mesh and smooth the mesh.
12.Remove the trias by split or reconstruct option-
