Week 3 Verification of Weld Joints

Aim :

        To vaildate the weld joint and compare the material used .

Software used 

Ansys work bench 2021 R1 

Procedure :

Import the model from the portal and open in workbench 

Open in static structural .

Assign the material for the bracket and weld joints 

As per the cases we run given in the questions  assign the material .

Open in mechanical and check the model and rename as the convinences 

MATERIALS USED :

The boundry conditions are given as holes given in the brakets are fixed and force is given on the plate which is welded on the plate with ribs  on y axsis 12000 Nm .

The results are got as per the material and load used .

Load reamains same for all cases
