Week 3 Challenge : CFD meshing on Turbocharger
AIM: To perform topo clean up, surface mesh , volume mesh and to assign PID's for turbo charger.
Procedure:
- Import the model in ANSA.
- go to geometric checks and clean up the geometry by creating new faces, reducing single cons, triple cons etc.
- again go to geometry checks and check the errors. and make sure that there are no errors prior to the surface meshing
- .
- assign the PID's as given.
- go to the surface mesh and select spot mesh for surface meshing after assigning the quality criteria as mentioned in the question.
- after surface mesh, go to the volume mesh, select define and select diagnose checks. check the component where it is completely meshed or not.
- after completion select the components where volume mesh is required.
- go to mesh select tetra mesh and mesh the selected parts.
