Week-3 Challenge: ADVISOR Tool
1. For EV_defaults_in file, if cargo mass is 500 kg with all other default conditions, can the vehicle travel for 45 km with FTP drive cycle? Conclude your observations.
As per the question we Open the Advisor Tool In Matlab In that we Select the Load File As EV_defaults_in file and change the
Cargo mass to 500 and other parameter are defalault and check result
Next stemp is the slelect the Driving Cycle of FTP for the distance 45 km but as per software driving cyccle distance is
17.77 km so need the 3 driving cycle as per our rqeuriment
Observation of Result-
Actule as per default capacity of battery is 25 kw so our vechile run for only 41.4 km so we need to increse the battery we can see in image over there one msg is pop up for waring capacity for reach the distance 45 Km as per our rqueiment we can also see the other result also when we click on Component and slelect respetive Componet

2. In the above case, try changing the battery capacity and repeat the simulation
as per our Fisrt result we need to incereses the Power capacity of battery so we can achived the our target of 45 km distance so as per defalut at this stage battery power is 25 kw we changed to 35 kw and lets see the result

As per change battery capacity we acchied our target and we traveld the 53.2 km distance with battery capacity 35 kw so we acchived the our the our main target 45 km and go lettle bit forawrd
Now we see the result
3. Perform gradeability test with PRIUS_Jpn_defaults_in file
Compare your results in table and conclude
As per the rqurimet we open modeladvisor tool and select the PRIUS_Jpn_Defaults put all the deafult
So main motive is the check gradibilty test of vechcile so check the gardibilty between 10 Mph to 50 Mph with differnce of 10 MPh
click on gradibilty test one window is popup in that we have to select the speed according to this we gate the gradibilty
Now we see the result
As per the my Obervation if speed increses the gardibilty are decreses We shown below the Table
