1. For EV_defaults_in file, if cargo mass is 500 kg with all other default conditions, can the vehicle travel for 45 km with FTP drive cycle? Conclude your observations.

open the advisor and load ev_default_in file and change the cargo mass to 500

changing the drive cycle to cyc_ftp and then clicking the run without changing any other parameters

here the distance obtained is 17.8 km . because this results obtained from only one cycle

2. In the above case, try changing the battery capacity and repeat the simulation.

by changing the cycle to 4 each we obtained a km of 41.4 and there is a warning signal occurs shows missing trace by 3.2 km/h

From the above obtained changed the battery capacity from 25 to 30

capacity of battery is now 30

by changing the battery capacity we obtain 49.1 km of range

3. Perform gradeability test with PRIUS_Jpn_defaults_in file

Compare your results in table and conclude.

load file PRIUS_JPN_Default_in model as shown below

by clicking on gradeability options we can change the speed of vehicle from 5 to 25 with increment of 5.after changing the speed gradually we can obtain the results of gradeability for particular speeds.

below shows the gradeability of 32.8 for 5km/h
