Week-3 Challenge: ADVISOR Tool

With the default conditions of battery and cargo load is increased to 500kg. The vehicle is able to complete the 45km mark when run with the FTP driving cycle. The possible reasons might be the increase in cargo load. If cargo load is made made less(like 50kg) the vehicle is able to complete the 45km in single charge. The capacity of the battery is another factor due to which the required results are not achieved.

2.When we change the battery capacity and re-run the simulation (from ESS_PB25 to ESS_PB65_FocusEV) the vehicle is able to complete the target of 45 km with the increased cargo load of 500kg.
When we change the battery capacity we are able to increase the reange of the vehicle as well
If we change the battery storage from 26% to 27% we will see below range.

conclusion-
As we can see from the above table the gradeability decreases with increase in speed.
