Advisor Tool: It has three windows

- Vehicle input window.

- Simulation Parameter window.

- Result window.

# Part 1:

- Load the file from grop down menu and change the parallel_default_in from vehicle input window.

- Now change the cargo mass to 500 kg.

- Click to continue.

-Change the drive cycle to CYC_FTP by selecting droo down menu.

- RUN the simulation.

Gradeability at 88.5 kmph is 7.1% . Distance travelled in km:17.8

No of cycles:2

Distance travelled in km:41.4

Minimum distance travelled by vehicle is 17.8 and maximum distance travelled is 41.4km. Therefore vehicle do not travelled 50km due to insufficient SOC.

# Part 2:

- Change the capacity of battery to Energy storage: ESS_PB25

-Vehicle input:

- while changing the battery module in drive cycle2, we get constant distance travelled.

- In drive cycle 3 we get change in distace travelled.

- To cover 45 km distance 28 module 345 volt battery is required.

- select prius_jpn_defualt model

-continue to next window.

- Select gredeability test.

-Change the speed and duration for simulation.

For 55 mph 10 sec: Gredeability=6%

For 40 mph:Gredeability=11.7%

For 35 mph:Gredeability=13%

- Therefore speed increses gredeability decreases.
