Week-3 Challenge: ADVISOR Tool
1. For EV_defaults_in file, if cargo mass is 500 kg with all other default conditions, can the vehicle travel for 45 km with FTP drive cycle? Conclude your observations.
Theory:
Advisor vehical simulation is a set of model data and script file which made in Matlab Software .It,s design for simulate
verious of car model by simulink model.

Here is the EV model which we will going to be discuss.
.
In this model we change the cargo mass 5000kg from 136kg.
Also we chose the driving cycle as FTP(Federal Test Procedure)
result for 1st cycle:

we test this model and its showose distance travell 17.8 km
we chose driving cycle: one
gradibility: nal
result for 2nd cycle:

we test this model and its showose distance travell 35.5 km
we chose driving cycle: Two
gradibility: nal
result for 3rd cycle:

we test this model and its showose distance travell 41.4 km
we chose driving cycle: Three
gradibility: nal
result for 4th cycle:

we test this model and its showose distance travell 41.8 km
we chose driving cycle: Four
gradibility: nal
Observation:
Here the veical only travel to 41.8 km becouse of lack of power.here we increase driving cycle but at the case of
driving cycle 3 and 4 nos it's traveliung distance only 41.8 km .
Conclusion:The vehical is not able to cross the distance with this design and power parameter.
2nd Problem
2. In the above case, try changing the battery capacity and repeat the simulation.

Observation:
we change the Battary bank fron 25 nos to 35 nos and we take the driving cycle 2.5 and this time our vehical easyly cross the 45 km.
the system needed power for cross the 45 km path.
Conclusion:when we chose the right battary banck or we design for right power then the vehicle easyly cover the distance.
3rd Problem
3. Perform gradeability test with PRIUS_Jpn_defaults_in file
Compare your results in table and conclude.

This shows that toyota prius is a hybrid vehical which is oparate with IC engineen and electric power both.

Changed Parameters:
Speed=10 mi/h
Distance=10km

Observation:
Distance travel:12km
Gradibility:nill
speed:16.1km
The system shose
Speed=30 mi/h
Distance=10km

Observation:
Distance travel:12km
Gradibility:2.5%
speed:48.3km/h
Changed Parameters:
Speed=50 mi/h
Distance=10km

Observation:
Distance travel:12km
Gradibility:2%
speed:80.5km/h
Changed Parameters:
Speed=80 mi/h
Distance=10km

Observation:
Distance travel:12km
Gradibility:0.3
speed:128.7km/h
Changed Parameters:
Speed=100 mi/h
Distance=10km

Observation:
Distance travel:12km
Gradibility:0%
speed:160.1km
This is the chart where the vale of speed and gradebility with variation of speed:

Conclusion:
The gradibility decreases with increasing speed ofn vehical.
