Week 3
- Objective: to generate the mesh of the given model, using the mid surface on ANSA

- Procedure:
1) the first step is to do a geometry check/ geometry clean up, the mentioned errors need to be corrected before continuing(triple cons and others).
2) create the mid surface using the offset command(1/2 the thickness of the part, in this case, 0.325), take note of the direction of the offset. create a separate PID for the mid surface
3) Defeaturing, the mid surface needs to be defeatured to produce a good mesh and to prevent errors. (using the cut function, mesh module)
4) once the entire part has been defeatured, we need to key in the mesh parameters (F11)
5) the mesh can now be generated using the 'best mesh' option. starting with complex shapes then moving to simpler ones.
6) using the 'reconstruct', 'smooth', and 'split' commands we can improve the mesh.
