Challenge

Week 2 Challenge : Surface meshing on a Pressure valve

AIM:- For the given model, check for the geometrical errors and perform Topology cleanup accordingly. Set three different target lengths as three different cases and mesh the model.

  • Target length = 1mm, 3 mm and 5 mm (i.e. 3 cases)
  • Element type = Tria

Apply any one target length from the above at a time for the entire model as One case. Submit 3 different models for 3 cases.
Write a detailed report on your meshing process and also mention which case is giving good results along with the reason.

In this case we have performed to the mesh different cases 1mm, 5mm, 3mm

CASE:-1 5MM

In 5mm we have to show the seperate mesh of inlet, outlet, shaft, springs, baseline, body. the total no.of mesh is 8904.

Second case 3mm:-

in thi scase we have use trai method total trias are 23893

1mm :-

In 1mm mesh the total trias are 209829.

coclusions:-

1. In this case 5mm is the better results becasuse the total trias are 8904. it is better results

2. 1mm mesh is the higher fine mesh.

3. To mesh the spring it is highly recommended to use a mesh length of 1mm, since the other mesh size is unable to capture its surface and curvature.
