Making a simulink model of doorbell using solenoid block and to use a thermistor to turn on or off the fan according to the temperature

1.Make a Simulink model of Doorbell using solenoid block:

The model is created using Pulse generator, scope, PS-simulink and simulink-PS converter, Ideal translational motion sensor, solver config, solenoid and display as shown below:

As we can see a pulse generator is used to generate the signal to input into the switch. This signal needs to be converted to Physical signal using a Simulink-PS converter. When the switch is made to switch on for the first two seconds and then turned off the current passing through the solenoid makes the plunger to create a displacement according to the solenoid properties like mass of the plunger, damping constant, stiffness constant, etc. This displacement is caught by translational motion sensor and the readings are taken to plot.

The input signal and the ouput signal received is shown below:

2.Use a thermistor to sense the temperature of a heater & turn on or turn off the fan:

The different temperatures over different times is input using repeating sequence stair as the temperatures are given constant over same period of time. These signals are input into controlled temperature source where a temperature reference is placed. We give these temperatures to input for thermistor and the changes in the resistance due to the temp diff will cause a change in the voltage across resistor. The switch case is used with voltage value for threshold as 5.739 at 25 degrees celcius. The signal values given for repeating sequence stair along with the output signal graph is shown below.

As we can see the temperature was above 25 for the time period 10 - 30 sec and hence we return 1 for ON for that period from the switch case. Now this signal can be given to fan input as to control it as per the temperature.
