PROJECT NAME- SIMULINK MODEL FOR DOORBELL &THERMISTOR

AIM-:

  1. To make simulink model for a doorbell using solenoid block.
  2. To use thermistor to sense tempreture of a heater and turn on/off
  1. DOOR BELL-:

STUDY -1:

Make a simulink model of doorbell using solenoid block

making a simulink model of doorbell using solenoid block by using below parameter

SIMULINK MODEL EXPLANATION -

We have used following blocks in the model

  1. Pulse generator
  2. Switch
  3. Battery
  4. Switch
  5. ideal and mechanical translational
  6. Electrical reference.
  7. Simulink PS converter
  8. Display

So to feed the input pulse generator block is created the input for the pulse generator is given blow.

PARAMETER:-

INPUT:-i h

The input signal which is fed into the electrical circuit.the input has to be converted from the simulink

input signal the physical signal.this connected to the switch one end of the switch is connected to the

switch.one end of the switch is the positive terminal of the battery and the other end of negative .

terminal of the solenoid the negative terminal of the terminal of the battery is then connected to the

electrical resistence is connected to the circuit and a solver configration is also added.

The case i have given the amplitude as 4.To achieve 2 second of phase delay and 2second to ring

I have given the time period as 4 second with a pulse width of 50%.

OUTPUT:-

The amplitude/vibration shown at the bottom indicate the bell is ringing at the interval of 2 second

with phase delay of seconds.

The amplitude/vibration at the phase delay line is a concern in the output.

Thermistor theory:

A thermistor is a resistence is a thermometer or a resistor whose resistence is dependent on

tempreture the term is a combination of ''thermal'' and ''resistor''..

There are two types of thermistor:Negative Tempreture coefficient (NTC) and postive tempreture

coefficient (PTC).with an NTC thermistor, when the tempreture increases resistence decreases ,

resistence increases conversaly ,when the the resistence increases tempreture decreases resistence

decreases .this type of thermistor is generally used as a fuse .

SIMULINK MODEL:-

Here the input is fed through the signal builder the input data is given based on the initial condition provided

in the challenges as per the above mentioned condition the input of the signal builder is connected shown in

below..

GRAPH:-

So based given condition the fan show time period will always show depends upon wavelength of the

given conition the value of the given a lot of diffrent a lot of source easily derivative to be selected

FIGURE:-

BY double clicking the scope block we can observe the graph here we can early see that when tempreture

in 300K the fan is OFF...

CONCLUSION:-

  1. Thus the both objectives were achieved successfully.
  2. similar approach can be used for simulation other physical device using simulink.
