Week -2
Introduction :-
1.
The Solenoid is an electromagnet withwire winding & a small metal piston inside it. When electric current flows throught the wire , an electromagnetic field is generated which pulls the metal piston towards it. The metal piston hits the tone bar located on both sides of the arrangement.
Following are the blocks :-
PS-Simulink & Simulink-PS Converter :- These blocks converts physical signals to simulink signals & vice versa.
Scope :-
Gives the plot of the output.
Pulse Generator:-
It is an analog input that has amplitude & frequency with which the input is transmitted.
Electrical & Mechanical References :-
It is a reference block with which the system has a ground source as a base.
Solenoid :-
It is an electromagnetic device which is represented as a block here.
Battery :-
It is a device that has +ve & -ve terminal for the electric circuit to be completed for an electric flow.
Switch :-
It is a device which completes the electric circuit for current to flow & can be controlled manually or automatically depending on the switch.
Ideal Translated motion sensor :-
it is a type of sensor that provides the position or velocity input for the system to generate output.
Solver Configuration :-
It is a type of block that acts a complete equation for f(x)=0 where we find the value of x & generate the output.
