Q1.simulink model of doorbell using solenoid block
Doorbell: thr doorbell is a device having mechanical and electrical device component produce sound on pressing the button.
When the switch is pressed the circuit loop is complete which causes the current to flow through the circuit , while passing the solenoid it generates the electromagnet at desired space which allow the plunger to move due to which it hots the bell and produce sound.
Solenoid: A solenoid is a device comprised of a coil of wire housing and a moveable plunger ARMATURE ,
When an electrical current is introduced , a magnetic field forms around the coil which draw the plunger in. more simply a solenoid converts electrical energy itno mechanical work
DOORBELL USING SOLENOID BLOCK

EXPLANATION: in Simulink we use blocks to represent any system to get the desired output .in this project we use some blocks to get our desired output.
1.pluse generator : this puls generation block generates square wave pluses at regular intervals the block waveform ,amplitude pulse width, period and phase delay , determine the shape of the output waveform
2.simulink-ps-converter: it converts the Simulink input signal into a physical signal
3.switch: switch controlled by an external physical signal
4.electrical reference: it shows connection to electrical ground
5.battery: it gives the power to the close loop
6.solenoid: electrical characteristic and generated force of solenoid
7.Ideal translational motion sensor: it is a motion sensor in mechanical translational systems.
8.Ps-simulink converter: it converts physical signal into Simulink output signal
9.mechanical translational references: Reference connection for mechanical translation ports
10.scope: it displays signals generated during simulation
Output:

Input signal of the pulse generator

Q2.use a thermistor to sense the temperature of a heat & turn off the fan as per the below conditionsa:
We going to use the same the procedure as above to sense the temperature of s heater
Thermistor : thermistor resistor is defined as a type of resistor whose electrical resistance varies with changes in temperature . all resistors resistance will slightly with temperature. Although all resistors resistance will fluctuate slightly with temperature , a thermistor is particularly sensitive to temperature changes.
Thermistors act as a passive component in a circuit . they are an accurate, cheape and robust way to measure temperature . while thermistor do not work well in extremely hot or could temperature , they are the sensor of choice for many different application . following is the Simulink block assembly block assembly for thermistor based heater . and with condition follows here as
- 0 -10 sec temperature 293
- 10-30 sec temperature 300
- 30-50 sec temperature 296
And you can see these detail in signal builder block where the input is inserted with these signal .

Simulink and simscape block design:

After running for 50 secs we need to provide the display as an input to the switch for ON and OFF condition

And therefore we get the output as follows:
