Simulink model of door bell by using solenoid block :-

Construction of doorbell :-

1) In these doorbell model by using solenoid the different block is used are as :-

  • Battery
  • Switch
  • Ideal translational motion sensor
  • Pulse generator
  • Solenoid
  • Converter
  • Electrical reference and mechanical translational reference
  • Scope

1) The positive terminal of battery is connected to positive terminal of switch and negative terminal of battery connecte to negative terminal solenoid to supply the power source. First of all solenoid is work as when the electricity is provided to solenoid it get magnetize and get magnetism. Ideal translational motion sensor is coonect to solenoid to sense the motion.

2) The switch is provided by the physical input signal. These signal is generate by the pulse generator. The c port of solenoid and c port of motion sensor are connect to the mechanical reference. The P port of sensor is connect to output which display by scope.

3) The input signal is given as following:- The Amplitude , period , pulse width , phase delay is given as

Conclusion:-

The condition is given as the switch is closed for 2 second and then released. so that why the delay time is given as 2 second. The input is given to switch and whenever switch is close the supply is provide to solenoid and it get magnetized and attract the plunger towaed us. after 2 second swithch is open the supply is remove and solenoid loose its magnetism.

Result :- The simulation is run for 30 second and observe the result is bell is ringing.

The movement of plunger is sense by motion sensor and provide output to the scope. the converter is uesd to convert the signal from simulink the simscpe and vice versa.

2) The thermistor use to measure temperature of heater :-

The model of thermistor sense temperature of heater included the block such as :-

  • Signal builder block
  • Controlled temperature source block
  • Thermistor
  • Battery
  • Resistor
  • Voltage sensor
  • Electric reference and Thermal reference
  • Solver configuration
  • Switch

Construction and Working of thermistor sense the temperature of heater:-

1) In these model the positive terminal of thermistor is connect to the positive terminal of battery and resistor. The negavtive terminal of resistor is connect to thermistor terminal. The s port of thermistor is provide by the input signal. These are the total heater connection.

2) The signal builder block is provide input to controlled temperature source and toward the S port. The A port of controlled temperature source connect to thermal reference. Temperature given by signal builder is compared with reference total temperature is given to Port B.

3) The voltage sensor is sense the voltage of thermistor and given the output the switch.

Thermistor :- Thermistor is device which measure the temperature , it working the relationship of resistance and temperature and the output of the thermistor in voltage.

Condition is given are as follows:-

At temperature 20 `degree celsius`it means 293.15 K from 0 to 10 sec

At temperature 27 `degree celsius` it means 300 K from 10 to 30 sec

At temperature 23 `degree celsius` it means 296 K from 30 to 50 sec.

4) The condition given as Fan is ON if temperature is above the 25 `degree celcius` and below them is OFF . The switch is provided by two constant block constant 1 is value with 1 and another with 0. the thresold voltage is applied to 0.01105. It operate the fan condition.

5) In these model the thresold voltage is display in display block. these thresold volatge is obtain at 25 temperature. above them is fan ON and below them OFF.

Result :-

In these result from 0 to 10 sec fan is OFF and from 10 to 30 sec fan is ON when temperature is above 25 and below 25 then again fan OFF from 30 to 50 sec.
