    Assemble and apply GD&T to the butterfly valve assembly drawing.

    Components of Butterfly Valve

                Body

                Stem

                Retainer

                Lever

    Disc Plate

    Nut

    Screw

     

    Step 1 Open the assembly part file.

    Step 2 Use Add Component and export all the parts of Butterfly Valve Assembly.

    Step 3 Use Move Component command to move and align components to each other and roughly position them.

    Step 4 Use Assembly Constraints command to constraint and assemble components together.

    Step 5 Create the drafting layout for the generation of sheet.

    Step 6 Project different view on the sheet.

    Step 7 Provide geometric dimensioning and tolerance on the various features of Nut.

     

    Conclusion

    The Assembly of Butterfly Valve is made in Simens NX CAD and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance on the various features of Assembly of Butterfly Valve are provided.
