Week 14 challenge
REPORT :
The Assembly of the butterfly consists of the followings parts
1.Retainer
2.Disc Plate
3.Lever
4.Nut
5.Bolt
6.butterfly valve
7.Shaft
1.Retainer:

2.Disc Plate :
The butterfly valve opening is a disc shaped butterfly plate which rotates around his own axis in the valve body.So has to achieve the purpose of opening and closing or adjusting. The openig closing piece and that controls the flow and circulation of the medium.
Butterfly valve are the type of quater valve a rotating disc element that allows, controls, and obstructs the fluid flow in a pipeline. They are valued for their compact size and simple construction and operating mechanism and for inducing a low pressure drop across the valve.
Historically, most makers of this product type have offered three basic disc materials
nickel plated ductile iron
3.Lever:
It is used for easier grip while handling the butter fly valve and it prevents the hand while slipping. This is benifit to the elderly and those for the physical disability. This design is also useful if your design is wet or greasy as it can make the door knob more difficult.
This Lever handle is mainly used in automobile and aerospace applications for the easy transmission of the torque from one end to the other and the manuability of the object becomes easy and the power used to trasmit and less.
4.Nut :
These are the widely used products in almost every industry to fasten one element with the other to ensure safety and the nut is also used for joining one component with the other. These joints can be assembled and disassembled easily.
5.Bolt:
These are also the integral part of the butterfly assembly used to fix the the butterfly valve and the disc plate and also used to join the shaft and the retainer
There are total of 5 bolts in the butterfly assembly
6.Butterfly Valve :
This valve regulates flow by starting, stopping and slowing media. The disc opens and closes with a torque rotation of 90 Deg and works for any compatiable application, because they cost less and lighter in weight is often preffered over other types of valves.

7.Shaft:
It is used to connect the part and it transmits the relative motion between the two components.
It is mostly used in almost all the industries. These shafts are made of different materials like Al,Steel etc.
These shafts are produced by CNC machines by using either the turning,Cutting,Groove forming Etc.
The strength of these material is high and cost of manufacturing cost of these shafts also less and have high factor of safety.

CONSTRAINING:
means fixing of the individual parts with respect to the other indivdual part so that the individual part becomes an assembly
1.The part the we needed to be moved to the selected first with reference to the axis centre so that the first selected part will be moved and after constraining with the axis the touch constraint will be used to attach the surface
2. In this way the respective final assembly is obtained by using the constrait of the centre axis and the touch
3.The order of arrnging the constraints is shaft,Retainer,2X bolts,butter valve,shaft,disc plate,nut
3.If one part is constrained then the whole part moves while if we try to constraint the pair with the other.

This is how the constraints will takes palce
