Q1 ) Generate report for the steel building design from challenges 1 – 6 along with the loading summary.

ANS 1)

AIM : To generate report for the steel building design from challenge 1-6.

TOOLS USED : Report, Model report, Show report.

PROCEDURE :

• Open the structure and analyze it.

• Now click on report tab.

• Select model report option, New dialog box appears.

• Now select the particular category and we can obtain the reports for each and every category separately.
• Next click on show reports to view the selected member reports.

RESULT : Hence, obtaining the reports for the steel structure is done successfully.

Q2 ) Generate report for RC structure along with the loading summary.

AIM : To generate report for rc structure along with loading summary.

TOOLS USED : Report, Model report, Show report.

PROCEDURE :

• Open the structure and analyze it.

• Now click on report tab.

• Select model report option, New dialog box appears.

• Now select the particular category and we can obtain the reports for each and every category separately.

• Next click on show reports to view the selected member reports.

RESULT : Hence obtained the reports for the concrete structure successfully.

Q3) Update the layers settings in the model and generate plan drawings and details from the model.

ANS 3)

AIM: To update the layer settings in the model and generate plan drawings and details from the model.

TOOLS USED : Home, Settings, Layer styles, Planer drawing.

PROCEDURE :

• Click on home tab, go to settings.

• Settings dialog box appears.

• In the dialog box we have to select layer styles.
• Under layer styles select planer drawing.

• In that we can select colours for the members according to our will.
• We can repeat the same steps for other members also.

RESULT : Hence, updating of the layer settings has been done successfully.
