Week 11 - Project - A pillar Design with Master Section

Aim:To Create a body according to given master section.

Class A surface:

We are provided with Class A surface along with the master section.

Class B Surface:

After offseting the surface to 2.5 mm we have created class B surfaceafter solving some missing patch errors.

Class C surface:

We have created class C surface by susing sweep commnand and then trimming it with Class A body.

Creation of Tooling axis:

We have created tooling axis by using the master section.We extracted the two lines front and back of dog house and created a bisecting line as a tooing axis.The by using the side phase we created side axis.

Final Body:

Final Body is created using the close surface command.

Dog House Creation.

We have creatred the dog house along with the ribs and provided the necessary draft angle to it.

Draft Analysis:

We have given the draft of 1.5 degrees to complete body and the dog house and found out that the body is drafted with minimal deflection.
