Week-11 : Discretization of 3D intake manifold using GEM-3D
AIM:
1. To explore tutorial- single cyl DI Engine with discretization length 0.1 mm for intake runner.
2. To explore tutorial no 2 (GEM3D) - “Building intake manifold from STL model”.
(1) Single cylinder Diesel Ignition Engine:
Case setup:
two cases with different Discretization Length were used at 3600RPM.

The STL file is opened in GEMS 3D.
The four exhaust of manifold is divided into sub-parts.
The unevenly curved outlets are turned into pipes.
The manifold is exported into the GT model:
