Week 10 - Challenge 3 - Door Trim Lower with Engineering Features
DOOR TRIM LOWER WITH ENGINEERING FEATURES:

AIM:
To create the solid body and create the heat steaks for given class A Surface.
Given:
Class A surface & Heat steaks locator points:

CREATION OF TOOLING AXIS:
- Tooling axis is create by using inertia moment feature and create the coordinate feature.
- By using line feature we are creating the tooling axis.
- By drafting anaysis we finalyze the tooling axis.

CREATION OF CLASS B SURFACE:
- We need to ofset the class A surface and using multiple extract, boundary, extrapolate, trim, split, join to create the class B surface.

CREATION OF CLASS C:
By using sweap we are craete the class c surface with respect to tooling axis, and then trim and extrapolate we finally create the c surface.

Creation of Class A & C join:
Using extrapolate and joint we are create the class A&C join.

CREATION OF FINAL TRIM:
Using trim option we have to join the Class A & C Join surface and Class B surface.

CREATION OF CLOSED SURFACE:
To change the work interface into part file and create the solid body using closed surface feature.

CREATION OF HEAT STEAKS AND ENGINEERING FEATURE:
- Here we need to create 4 way locator and 2 Way locator with respect to 3,2,1 principle for arest the 12 types of degrees of freedom of the part.
- For that here im using 2 nos of 4 way locator and 1 no of two way locator In triangular position by that we are almost constrain the 10 types of DOF,still we need to constrain transulation along x direction.
- With given points we need to create the heat steaks and the locators with respect to the rib design guide lines.
- We need to consider the height, diameter and position of heat steaks.
- It was differs by the part by part.
- And we need to create the draft analysis for final part.
