Week 10 - Challenge 3 - Door Trim Lower with Engineering Features

DOOR TRIM LOWER

Aim: To Create the Door trim lower component through the given Class-A surface.

CLASS A SURFACE

TOOLING AXIS CREATION

It is possible to clearing draft in z-direction. So create a point on the surface then create a line on the point in z direction

CLASS B SURFACE

Offset of 2.5 mm from the A-Surface will be the B-Surface. And clearing some patches to create the final B surface

CLASS C SURFACE

For creating this surface we have extracted the boundry of Class A using multi-extract and then converted to smooth curve. Now this smooth curve is swept along 90deg with a 3deg draft.
