Week 10 - Challenge 3 - Door Trim Lower with Engineering Features
AIM: Create the Door Trim Lower Plastic component through the given Class-A surface. To begin with, the tooling axis for the given Class-A Surface should be created meeting the requirements of the draft angle and at the end perform the Draft analysis on the model.
- Creation of Tooling axis for given class A surface needed for draft analysis and further process.

- for Creation of class B surface first prefer standard method of creation or secondly direct offset the class A surface and use it to create B surface and using diffrent cammands and master sections correct and join the patches on the surface as follows;

- And we get a complete B surface with ZERO PATCH no extra boundry.

- Then creation of C surface using sweep cammand and option.

- Now join the Class A surface and class C surface together.

- finally insert a Body and using Close Solid option make the surface to 3D component.

- The Creation of attachment fature 'Dog House' for 3D component Door Trim.

- Then creation of second attachment feature '4 way locators' with considering all its design rules.

- Then creating third attachment feature 'Heat stake' for the door trim.

- similarly creation of one more attachment feature called 'Rib'.

- Now join these attachment features to the main component and using transfer cammand and paste special link spread them to diffrent section of component to get the final output.

- And now perforimg an Draft Analysis for 3D component with all B side feature. Also for Dog House with respect to under cut axis. Nominal draft for component is 3mm.

- Draft Analysis for Dog House w.r.t. undercut axis. Nominal draft for Dog House is 0.5 mm inside.

- Screenshot of the completed design of Door Trim with B side features.

- Conclusion: In this way i have completed the design and Draft Analysis of Door Trim with attachment features.
