TOOLING AXIS CREATION REPORT

Objective

To create a tooling axis for the given surface to ensure proper part ejection during molding

PROCESS SUMMARY

1. SURFACE ANALYSIS

Analyze the surface for undercuts and steep areas to determine the optimal extraction direction

2. REFERENCE POINT CREATION

Created a reference point on the surface using point command

3. TOOLING AXIS CREATION

Generated a normal line at the reference point using linecommand; this line represent the tooling axis for part extraction

4. VALIDATION

Conducted draft analysis to verify that all surfaces have a positive draft along the tooling axis, ensuring manufacturability

CONCLUSION

The tooling axis was succesfully created and validated for proper mold ejection.
