Week 10 - Challenge 2- Attachment Feature Creation (Dog House)

AIM:

To create dog house using the design principles.

Tooling Axid:

Tooling axis is created by using the point and the line.

DOG HOUSE

Dog house is an engineeerng feature used in plastic trim design. Dog house are used as supporting features. Someone other engineering like snaps; locators etc. are mounded on them to increase thieir strenght. Dog houses are subjected to drafting analysis to prevent breakage of the compenent during ejection from mould cavity. Dog house and the engineering components are build on B surface.

Closed surfacde :

After creating the C Surface we need to go through by creating an closed surface as per the given wall thickness.

DRAFT ANALYSIS:

Draft angle analysis is the main thing which makes the model to complete.

SURFACE CREATION:

Class A Surface is already given from the question we just need to create a Class B furface by repairing the A surface and create a C surface by using Sweep and more features.

After creating of C surface we need to join and trim them to make surface closed.
