Week 10 - Challenge 1- Attachment Feature Creation (Ribs & Screw Boss)

AIM:

• Create the Screw boss for the Drill Handle by considering the design rules.
• Create the rib for the Drill Handle by considering the design rules.
• Also creating the tooling axis by the Bisecting method.
• Also creating B and C surfaces.
• Draft analysis the given A surface and final part Surface.

CLASS A SURFACE

TOOLING AXIS CREATION

It was created by using the bisecting lines from the class A extracted surface.

CLASS B SURFACE

Offset of 3 mm from the A-Surface will be the B-Surface.

CLASS C SURFACE

For creating this surface we have extracted the boundry of Class A using multi-extract and then converted to smooth curve. Now this smooth curve is swept along 90deg with a 3deg draft.
