Week 10 Bullet penetrating a Bucket Challenge
Objective: Simulation of a bullet penetrating into a bucket. 3 different materials were analysed in this problem.
CASE 1: Aluminium
CASE 2: Copper
CASE 3: Gold
1. Geometry:
2. Material:
The bullet is assigned with Tantalum and the bucket is subjected for material variation.

3. Case setup:
i. Mesh
The bullet is provided with a body sizing of 6 mm. The geometry is made with tetragonal mesh.

ii. Analysis settings:

iii. Fixed support:

iv Velocity:

4. Solution:
| (Max values are considered) | Total deformation | Equivalent Stress |
| CASE 1 | 1390 | 119.77 |
| CASE 2 | 1390 | 191.74 |
| CASE 3 | 1390 | 75.91 |
Stress is less for gold and higher for copper.
