QUICK RETURN MECHANISM

A quick return mechanism is an apparatus to produce a reciprocating motion in which the time taken for travel in return stroke is less than in the forward stroke. It is driven by a circular motion source (typically a motor of some sort) and uses a system of links with three turning pairs and a sliding pair. A quick-return mechanism is a subclass of a slider-crank linkage, with an offset crank.

Quick return is a common feature of tools in which the action is performed in only one direction of the stroke, such as shapers and powered saws because it allows less time to be spent on returning the tool to its initial position.

ASSEMBLE OF COMPONENT

  • First go to click the start then go to select mechanical design, and select the assemble design.
  • After showing the assembly desktop then go to the ribbon bar select the insert and  click the existing componenet take which you want assemble the parts.
  • Select the all part design component in order to save the assembly file.
  • Create the parent constrain of reference point for assemble the component.
  • And goes to use constrain commands for assemble.

CONSTANT VELOCITY JOINT (C V JOINT)

Constant-velocity joints are mechanical joints which allow a drive shaft to transmit power through a variable angle, at constant rotational speed.

Constant velocity, or CV, joints are used to connect your vehicle's transmission to your wheels. CV joints are part of the driveshaft and are used primarily on front-wheel drive vehicles, but they are also used in rear and four-wheel drive vehicles.

There are two types of CV Joints. The Cardinal, which is usually found in heavy trucks and four-wheel drive vehicles and rzeppa CV joints found on most front wheel drive vehicles. Besides just holding the drive shaft in place, the CV joints also transfer power to the wheels from the transmission.
