Week 10- Assembly Workbench

Object :- Create the parts with proper dimension and required Assumptions with Proper assembly constraints and apart from this creation of drafting for the parts and assembly as given in challenge.

• Here I have created the parts according to given 2D drawing and then assembled.

• Drafting of Assembly-

 

Assembly Procedure :-

• First of all I fixed the body 2 with skeleton referance,
• Then I gave the coincindence constraint between body 2 cylinder axis and body 1 hole axis, and contact constraint according to drawing,
• Then I gave the coincindence constraint between body 3 cylinder axis and body 4 hole axis, and contact constraint according to drawing,
• Then I gave the coincindence constraint between body 5 cylinder axis and body 3 hole axis, and offset constraint with 0mm between both face according to drawing,
• Then I gave the contact constraint between rectangular face of body 3 and flate face of body 1 and 10mm offset constraint between upper flate face of body 3 and upper flate face of body 1,
• Then I gave the coincidence constraint between body 5 cylinder axis and body 1 cylindrical elongated hole vertical axis. And finally my assembly is ready.

Conclusion :- In this challange we learnt that how to give the assembly constraint in assembly part design.
