Step.5 :-Set project base point
- Open visual Graphic on the screen by clicking VG.
- Then go to Site Expand it.
- Then click it on project base point.
- Set its value as (0,0)

Step.6 :-Finally, save the file it in Residential building-Architectural .

2) Open another new file but with a structural template. Using the manage tab set project parameters the same as the architectural model. Copy the parameters from the architectural model to the structural template or enter the parameters manually into the structural model
AIM:To create the structural template and using manage tab select the parameters same as architectural template.
Tools used:-
- Structural template
- Grid
- Manage tab
- Collabarate
Procidure :-
Step.1 :- Select the Structural template

Step.2 :- Select the grids and draw the grids
Rename the grids in horizontal ------> (A), Vertical ------> (1)

Step.3 :- Select the manage tab -------------> Specify coordinate at point ----------->select one grid to specify as a point 0'0"

Step.4 :- Select the manage tab -------------> Specify coordinate at point ----------->select other grid to specify as a point 0'0"

Step.5 :-Finally, save the file it in Residential building-Structural .

3)Re-open the architectural model. Using the tools under the Collaborate tab make the architectural model a central model (enabling simultaneous working on the model)
AIM:To collabrate the Architectural model as a central model.
Tools used in software:
- Collabrate.
Procedure:
Step 1 :- Open the architectural template file in revit.

Step 2 :- Select the collaborate tab and select collaborate.

Step 3 :- Option will appear as how will be collaborate the file

Step 4:- Select the option within the network and press enter ok.

Step 5:- Next we save the project as Architecture collabarate project 6.1, shown below.we save the project file as a central model as shown below.

RESULT:-
- Created an architectural model as a central model using the collaborate tab.
4) Create the Grids Longitudinal and Transverse pattern for the project similar to the task done in Week 2
AIM: To Create Longitudinal and transverse pattern.
Tools used :
- Architectural template.
- Grids
Procedure:
Step 1 :- Open the Architectural template file in revit.

Step 2 :- Select the architectural tab and select grids
- Click on the Pick line option.

Step 3 :- Draw the grids in equal distance by seting the offset distance as 2000

Step 4 :- Do the same procedure for transverse and longitudinal grids

Step 5 :- Save the file.
RESULT:
- Created the Grids Longitudinal and Transverse pattern for the project similar to the task done in Week 2.
5) Synchronize the changes from the local copy to the central file of the architectural model.
AIM:
To Synchronize the changes from the local copy to the central file of the architectural model.
INTRODUCTION:-
- The Synchronize with Central process loads changes from other files to the central file, and then saves local changes to the central file, which are saved by default.
- The Central File Access pane of Worksharing Monitor displays the progress of the Synchronize with Central operation, which involves several distinct steps.
PROCEDURE:-
Step:-1
- Open the above Architectural grid project file.
- First we have to collaborate using the collaborate toolbar.
- Next we have to save the project as central model.
- Next the syncronize option will be visible, as shown below.

Step:-2
- After selecting the syncronize option, a new tab will appears and click ok.

RESULT:-
- Synchronized the changes from the local copy to the central file of the architectural model
6) Open the structural model and use the collaborate tools to save the model as a central file.
AIM:- To save the model as a central file using the collaborate tool in the structural model.
PROCEDURE:-
Step:-1
- First select the structural File which we are created opened.

- Next click on the collaborate tab, then the new tab will be visible.
- Then click on the ok button.

Step:-2
- Next we save the project file as a central model as shown below.

RESULT:-
- Saved the model as a central file using the collaborate tool in the structural model.
7) Under the Collaborate tab, select the grids and levels from the architectural model, and using Copy Monitor try to copy the grids to the structural model. See what happens when the copy monitored grid is moved around in the structural model
AIM:- To copy the grids from the architectural model to the structural model using Copy Monitor option.
PROCEDURE:
Step 1. Open the Structural file which is complected earlier.

Step 2. Go to the Insert tab .
- Select the Link Revit option
- Select the Architecture Grid file which we created earlier.

- Link the File ---->

- Now it is Linked but not Copy.
Note:-Special check by the Visual graphic tab
- For this type VG
- Click on the Revit link
- Uncheck the Arch. grid project file
- Click ok

- Hear We saw that the linked file disappeared.

- Hense the file was only Linked not copy.
Step 3. So it needs to copy.
- Go to Collabarate Tab
- then click on the copy monitor
- Select links and copy

Step 3. Select the grid levels and select multiple and copy.

Step 4. Then click, finish command.

Step 5. Finally, Open the Structural template file and grids and columns will be in structural template save the file as Structural Project linked with arc6.7.rvt.

8) Create another new file with a construction template. Save the new file as a central model. This file will include both architectural and structural model. Under the manage tab, Click manage links to link both architectural and structural files. Save the file and close all the files.
AIM:-
- To create new file with a construction template and need to save the new file as central model.
- To link both architectural and structural files in a single project using the manage links tool.
PROCEDURE:-
Step:-1
- First open a new project using the construction template, as shown below.

Step:-2
- Next the project tab will be opened, as shown below.

Step:-3
- Next select the collaborate toolbar.
- And next click on the collaborate option.
- Next the new tab will be visible.
- Then click on the ok button, as shown below.

Step:-4
- Next we save the project file as a central model as shown below.

Step:-5
- Next the syncronize option vill be visible, as shown below.

Step:-6
- After selecting the syncronize option, a new tab will appears and click ok.

Step:-7
- Next we click the mange links and link the structural and architectural models, as shown below.
- After clicking the VG command.

Step:-8
- Next we click the acquire coordinates and select the models and press enter.
- Next we click on the relocate project option, and select the points of both architectural and structural model visible on the screen, as shown below.
- The both structural model and architectural model are linked, as shown below.
- Next we save the project as project 12 and close all the files, as shown below.

RESULT:-
- Created new file with a construction template and saved the new file as central model.
- And both architectural and structural files are linked successfully in a single project using the manage links tool.
9. Are the grids from structural and architectural model matching in the construction template created? If yes the model is set up for project 2. If not work on the shared parameters and linking options under Manage links.
Ans :- Yes, the grids from structural and architectural model matching in the construction template created successfully and my model is set up for project 2.

10) List a flow chart of a project tree set up in terms of Construction model, Architecture & Structure model, in this exercise and understand how many people can work on the same project using Revit simultaneously
