Its long protection for cars underbody for rust & corrision. and also protection aganist damage from stone due to poor road condition, reactions form salt in waterin monsoon .
the main purpose is to check rust especially in body components like frame rails.
its a spray accesaray that protects vechicals body underneath.

STEPS OF MODERN AUTOMOTIVE PROCESS FLOS OF COATING:
1.Pretreatment process
2.Eletrodepositon
3.Applying rust proof materials
4.Adding primer
5.Top coat
1.PRETREATMENT:
In the process removes & clean excess metal & forms an approprites surface enabling of corrosion protection and oils and welding residues are removed throught three dipping process.i)degreaser, ii)conditioning iii)phosphating.
2. ELECTRODEPOSITION:
In the step automoible body is dipped into a coating solution tank and electric current is pass through the body and liquid solution. due to this ED paint penetrate into places were the spray not reached. automobile body is lowerd into ED tank which contains resign, binder are feded into tank and electric current. solution contians 80-90% of deionised water, and 10-20 % of resign, binders paint solutions.
After ED tank body is cross over throught bake chamber which has 160 cof temperature for 10 mis.
3. SEALER / PVC:
In thrid step underbody coating & seam sealing using PVC.its a apply of soft tip primer coat that improves chipping resistance. is applied to edge of front hood, wheel housing, radiator support.
4. APPLYING PRIMER:
its is a water-borne,solvent-borne or a powder. this primer fills & smoothes to minor scratches.
primer process of automobile industry are followed in three stages.
interior coating,
exterior coating &cutting in an oven.
5. TOPCOAT:
The final step in coating process it contains 2 layers of base coat &clear coat.
