Tool Test-2
Aim:
To solve the given Intake Manifold component, check for the geometrical errors and mesh the Surfaces with the given 2D element Quality criterias given below.
Given data:
S.No
Quality Criteria Value
1.Target/Average length 3
2.Minimum Length 1
3.Maximum Length 5
Given CAD:

Procedure:
¬ Initially import geometry into ANSA.
¬ Clen up the geomertry or else correcting errors.
¬ Then Assign the target value as take a perimeter value.
¬ Then define the mesh parameter and quality criteria.
¬ Now start meshing the fillet and curve faces using ortho tria.
¬ Then flat surfaces are meshed with tria.
¬ A good mesh flow used reconstruction option.
¬ After check the element quality errors and its correction.
¬Now define the volume using define option in volume mesh
¬ After defining volume mesh generate mesh on the volume using tetra rapid.
¬Then check the TET collapse error and correct them
¬ After complete volume take cross section view to get unstructred mesh.
Geometry clean up:

Conclusion:
¬ Sucessfully complete the shell mesh using ortho/tria option.
¬ extract volume for intake manifold.
¬ Clear all the quality criteria.
