To model columns for industrial steel structure using TSD

Aim: To create column properties for different types of pedestal members and model in the grids created as per the assignment 1

Procedure:

• Open the TEKLA software
• Now create the levels using construction level option
• 
• Now draw the grid lines according to the question
• 
• Now create column properties for the pedestal members and model in the grid
•

Aim: To create column properties for steel columns and model columns in the grid created

Procedure:

• Open the saved Tekla file
• Now go to the Home tab and select Manage Property Sets
• Now add the properties of the Steel columns and Steel beams and click ok.
• 
• Now again, add the steel columns by applying the column properties , which is already added in the Manage Property Sets
•

Aim: To create beam properties and model primary and secondary beams on the ground floor

Procedure:

• Open the Tekla saved file
• Select the beam properties which we have already added in the manage property sets
