To Analysis and Design of Steel Structures using TSD

  1. Summarize your study for the bending moment, shear force, and deflection diagrams for the elements of the model

Once the model is done we need to run the analysis to see the distribution of force to the building because it's very useful for the designer to analyze all the safety checks.

we need to see how our model is contributing BM, SF, and Deflection and need to verify the checks for the steel beam which is more prone to lateral torsional buckling, bending moment, and shear force so we need to re-design, and a check should be done for deflection.

For the columns, we need to check for the deflection, Bending moment, shear force, lateral torsional buckling, and design for the deflection and bending moment.

2.Based on the analysis design the members and outline the thought process in selecting the member sizes along with the foundation design

My column and beams are failing so I need to see which check is not satisfying and after I need to redesign it in order to satisfy the check.

my beam is failing so I need to increase the moment of inertia, So I need to choose a higher section So that the Resiting moment should be greater than the design moment.

So once we satisfy the check, we can think about the economical solution
