Aim: To calculate the load acting on the proposed structure

Procedure:

Dead Load:

Self weight of Column = 0.3 x 0.3 x 4.5 x 25 = 10.125 kN

Self weight of Beam = 0.3 x 0.45 x 25 = 3.45 kN/m

Self weight of slab = 0.125 x 25 = 3.125 kN/m^2

Self weight of wall = 0.23 x 4.5 x 20 = 25.87 kN/m

Live load:

As per IS 875 part 2:

Kitchen = 2 kN/m^2

Living room = 2kN/m^2

Toilet and bathroom = 2kN/m^2

Staircase = 3 kN/m^2

Store room = 3 kN/m^2

Balconies = 3 kN/m^2

Bedrooms = 2 kN/m^2
