Sketch a G+1 residential plan according to Vaastu Shastra and Calculation of Loads as per IS code
- 1. According to the vastu each room shape is square and rectangle, the starting D1 is the main door without dark black colour, its much bigger and good quality than other doors , the entrance is from North side, after entering there NW you will find the living room which is best according to vastu and besides this there is a bedroom with attaching to the bathroom, on the other hand in NE there is a pooja, meditation room which ensures our spritual growth, infront of that there is a kitchen which has a door opening to dinning hall, the center long portion is empty hall, for the usage in functions, in the SW there are staircase.
- For finding the dead loads we start with columns the columns size is 0.4*0.4 and ht 3.5
- Volume of column= 0.4*0.4*3.5=0.56m3
- Unit weight of rcc=25kn/m3
- Dead load of column=0.56*25=14kn
- Total column throughout the building are 18 then the dead load=14*18=252kn
- Dead load of the walls of height 4m and thickness 0.23m
- Unit weight of brick=20kn/m3
- D.L is 4*0.23**20
- D.L=18.4kn/m
- Beam size 300*300*900
- Vol of rcc=0.3*0.3*0.9=0.081m3
- Self weight of beam = 25*0.81=2.025kn
- Self weight of the slab of size 7m *7m with thickness 250mm
- Total volume=7*7*0.25=12.25m3
- Unit weight of slab=25kn/m
- Self weight of rcc slab=25*12.25=306.25kn.
- The minimum live load for a house is 2.0kn/m2
- If the height of the building is greater than 10m then we can find the wind load.
