Radar Mast & Final Assembly of Yacht

DESIGNING OF SUNSEEKER PREDATOR YATCH

OBJECTIVE : To design the yatch using solidworks software and its main objective is to create the various surface models of yatch.

FEATURES : Used in modeling the yatch { Lofted surface, Swept surface, Filled surface, Surface trim, Extend surface, Surface Knit & many more. }

Major parts of yatch :

* Propeller * Radar * Hull * Garage door * Front seat * Middle seat * Rear seat * Superstructure * Radarmast

Week 1: Propeller, Radar, Garage door.

In this week, various new features are used to create the above models such as Lofted boss/base, Sketch driven pattern and Text.

Week 2 : Hull and Front seat.

New Features used to create hull & Front seat are :- Blueprints, Surface loft, Surface Trim, Surface Extrude, Surface Knit, Surface fill, Helix/Spiral, Extrude thin, 3D Sketch, Offset surface and Surface sweep.

Week 3:

Middle seat :- It's placed under the superstructure.

Rear seat :- It's placed at back of the hull and used two new tools (Ruled surface & Surface extend).

Week 4 : Superstructure and Radarmast

In superstructure, only a thicken feature is new in it and finally the radarmast is created.

ASSEMBLY : Insert all the part files & assemble it with mate conditions.

CONCLUSION : The sunseeker predator yatch is designed with solidworks.
