2.Explain the purpose and working of any three elements briefly.

2.1 FUSE: it is a safety device that protect an electrical system and the user as well. When an electrical strike or flow of high voltage current try to pass through the EC system, the fuse then take that electricity and get heated so much that it melts eventually and do not let the current pass through the system. Thus, it protects the electrical equipments.

there are three types of fuse availabe in the market.
A. Cartridge type
B. Rewirable
C. High rupturing Capacity type

2.2 BATTERY : It is an energy storage device that commonaly contains Li-ion cells in series/parallel combination. Cells are fundamental units of energy storage in the battery pack and each cell has voltage capacity of 1.5 V. In order to get desirable current/voltage, we try to arrange them in either or parallel or both ways.

Battery only supply DC voltage. There are mainly three components used in battery namely anode, cathode and electrolyte. Anode is negative charge or reducing electrode while cathode is positive charge or oxidising electrode. Electrolyte is the medium that faciliates the transfer of ions between anode and cathode.

There are two types of battery based on their inner chemistry.
2.2.1. Primary battery
It cannot be recharge after it's been used.

2.2.2. Secondary battery
It can be recharge for number of times.

2.3 Ammeter : It is an Electrical device that measures Direct current (DC) or Alternating current (AC). it measures the current in Ampere(A). Ammeter,in fact, does not have high resistance so that it does not cause a major volage drop in the electrical circuit.

Mainly there are two types of Ammeters.
2.3.1 AC Ammeter : It measures AC current flowing through component or Electrical circuit.

2.3.2 DC Ammeter : It measures Dc current flowing through component or Elctrical Circuit.

3.If the total load is 10A from battery, what should be the fuse rating?

As we know, the role of fuse is to protect the equipment from damage or fire hazard.
So, when we start any Elcetical system there is always slight higher load due to previous resiudal load or because of energy device like battery or capactior. In this case, we cannot keep the fuse rating as same as our total load because we can face peak voltage current in the beggining or anytime in between. To sum, it is always recommended that fuse rating should be higher than the load of system. you can go for up to 1.5 times higer rated fuse than the load.

In this case the total load is 10 A, and 1.5 times of that would be 15 A. So, we can go for any rating from 13 A, 14A or 15 A rated fuse. I will prefer to have 15 A for 10A load.

4.If 500W is the load, what is the voltage and capacity of battery you recommend?

In order to find the battery capacity, here for 500W load, I am taking battry voltage as 12 V and working time as 1 hour.

So, Battery capacity (Ah)* Battery voltage = watt.hour (Power load)

      Battery Cap.(Ah) = 500 W * 1 hour/ 12 V = 41.67 Ah

Therefore, for 12 V,500W load running for 1 hour recomended battery capacity is 41.67 Ah.
