Project - Analysis of a practical automotive wiring circuit

1.

  • Battery
  • starter
  • Ignition switch and other switches
  • Ammeter
  • Generator
  • Current voltage regulator
  • Fuse
  • breaker

2.

Ammeter:

used to measure the current in a circuit. it unit is ampere
It connected in series to measure current.
by measuring the current through a set of coils with a very low resistance and inductive reactance

Fuse:

a fuse is an safety device , It protects from high electrical current into the circuit.
the metal wire inside the fuse which melts when over load current passes through it,
which means metal wire can only withstand certain amount of current from the peak load of the circuit.

Generator:

It converts mechanical energy into electrical energy.
mechanical energy is usually provided by steam turbines,
gas turbines, and wind turbines.
Which rotate the rotor of the generator,it generates electical current from it.
It has stator, rotor, turbine, gear box(if needed).

3.

if 10 A is total , fuse rating generally will be 11.25 A or 12 A.

It should be 1.25 times higher than the total load. it fuse rating slightly varies depending upon the application. because load want to operate peak current.

4.

For 500w battery, 48 V and capacity will be 10 Ah.

5.

Parallel connection:

Tail stop light. because those two light can able to share same voltage from power source and also one light goes down another one will remain on.

This function not in series.

6.

Series connection:

Baterry - Ammeter, Because ammeter should be connect in series to measure current , if we connect in parllel current will flow only in ammeter, because it has low resistance.it may become short circuit.
