Challenge

Project - Analysis of a practical automotive wiring circuit

Ans No. -01

The major elements in above automotive wiring is

1. Battery

2. Ammeter

3. Generator

4. Ignition coil

5. Distribution

6. Junction box

7. Starter

8. Breaker

9. Current & voltage regulators

10. Foot selection switch

11. Ignition switch

Ans No. -02

.01. Battery:- cell of converted chemical energy to electric energy.It insist of anode cathode and electrolyte store the power of inside the battery

Working:- Store the power and chemical energy convert to electric energy. Given power to run the machine inside the vehicle

.02. Generator:- Generate the electric energy to mechanical energy

Working:- converting the electric energy to mechanical energy and the help of mechanical energy rotate the motor and wheel of the vehicle

.03. Ammeter:- It's use the measurement current of the battery and supply to the another machine

Working:- Measurements the current.If high voltage of current come to the machine he gives the information of fuse vehicle

Ans No.-03

Given Data

Total load in Ampere= 10A

Fuse rating= 2× total load in current

= 2× 10

= 20 A

Ans No. -04

Given Data

Power=500W

Current=10A

Voltage= Power/current

Voltage=500/10

Voltage=50V

Battery capacity=Power ×Time

Assuming Time =1hr

Hint. Battery voltage= 12V

Battery capacity=500/12 ×1

Battery capacity=41.6 A-hr

Ans No. -05

01. Both the Horn in parallel combination

02. Generator and regulator in parallel combination

In parallel combination each applicance get the full voltage. And if any one applicance is switched in other is not affected

Ans No. -06

01. Ammeter and ignition switch are in series

02. Distribution and thier switch are connected in series

Series circuit do not overheat easily and cell connect in series give resultant voltage
