https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TQJenAmTqVnj_Usx0FYQe7zPw5EgzLO-/view?usp=sharing AIM:

Use tetra elements to model non-uniform thickness components.

  1. Use Volume mesh for Tyre and Rim with below Quality criteria. (Use Tria Element)
  2. Use mid surface only when the thickness is uniform and less than 5 mm. (Use Mixed elements)

PROCEDURE:

STEP 1:

The given model.

STEP 2:

Split the model into different PID

The model has been splitted.

STEP 3:

For tyre and Rim the tria should be used.

STEP 4:

Other than tyre and trim measure the distance.

STEP 5:

For tyre and rim the tria has been done

Mesh has been done

STEP 5:

The volumetric mesh has been done

Go to auto---select all list will be created.

The list has been created.

The volumetric mesh has been generated.

STEP 6:

For other part volumetric mesh has been generated.

STEP 7:

Measure the distance of the two faces

The mid surface has been generated.

The 2D mesh has been generated.

STEP 8:

For spring the connector has been done.

Go to curves---middle the curve has been created.

Go to CBAR----select the orientation

The values has been assigned.

STEP 9:

Make correct of this part.

The bar has been assigned.

STEP 10:

For hole region

The rigid area has been created

RESULT:;

Hence, the 2D and 3D mesh and connectors also done.
